Weights can really vary between individuals of any species, just like people do. They do gain some weight as they get older. If not, your bird just might be on the small side, but that is okay. My Red Bellied Parrot is 115 grams when they are said to usually be about 125 grams... he is healthy and I've had him for 13 years. He is just a small guy. My Slender Billed Corella was 450 grams at about 4 months, and that is small for the species, yet she had good muscle mass and was found to be healthy. That's what matters. Some are giant, some are petite. Check to make sure the chest muscle (on each side of the keel bone) is not small and sunken in. |

Wow, Bunny is a petite Grey isn't she? Seems like I usually see Congos that are much bigger... Gryffin (Grand Eclectus) weighed about 380 at 6 months, but not sure how much she is now. |

Awww, what a gorgeous baby you have there!! my husband would be so jealous!! His dream bird is a CAG!! hehe well ever since he met the one in Singapore Jurong bird park (the bird sat on his shoulder while we walked around this massive closed off area (waterfall aviary), and wouldn't leave him alone)... unfortunately we can't get CAG here where I'm at. |

Yes you can. I have heard that there are a lot of chemicals being used on pepper. Please choose the organic version! |
