It's ok to disagree with me Shirin Like I've mentioned before, I did a lot of research on greys, I don't actually own one. You, on the other hand, do own a grey and can give more advice from personal experience.
Lisa, just definately do your homework on greys. Any bird can turn out bad whether rescued or getting a breeder bird, IF you don't give it the proper attention and love it requires. My personal experience with adopting Chaquita, 26 years old, has been very rewarding She was not a problem bird though. Even though she was given little attention, just head scratches here and there and cleaning her cage, she is very good. She doesn't demand a lot of attention and is happy to just be out of her cage and included in every day activities even if it is just watching us. |
