I have not ever changed my hair color.....but I have changed my nail polish. It did not bother our CAG, but it did bother the cockatiel so much that he would squak and run away. Also, none of my birds like hats....just something to think about. |

 That s the same with my birds. Poppet doesn't like me changing my nails where as it does not bother Merlin

Funny you should say that. I never had problems with my birds being afraid of those things. My nails were very interesting when I polished them one time though!  |

I shaved and I was a stranger to all of my birds until it grew back.

Mostly just for the change. It scares Carrie.....  I drop about 15 years when I shave, so she does not like it, the first time I did it, I did not give her any advance notice, I just walk in all clean cut....You should have seen her face... |

Ahhh, I feel for Carrie! You shouldn't do it anymore.. Your wife doesn't like it, and neither do the parrots. Isn't that enough? |

lol, yes clean shaven for me too.. I send hubby to shave as soon as the shadow comes out!!! LOL |
