Hi, I have not been here in a long time. We now have a precious baby girl CAG..she is Cody Jane. (We thought she was a he but she is a she..haha) Cody will be one year old next week and she has said peekaboo, I see you, Nite Nite, Good Morning, Good girl and STOP. (When she was biting too hard, I way say No, STOP!! That is pretty good for a young CAG, right? She is very loving and eats like a horse. She especially enjoys her fruits and veggies and when we eat dinner she is so EXCITED to eat with us..Becky |

Hi Becky,
I do love a CAG, they are sweet, we just got our second CAG, But Misty our little girl has been with us for one year, we got her a 6 weeks. Have you tried let her eat with you. Give her a plate, these guys are social eaters. It sounds like she wants to eat with you.. You should post some pictures and tell us more about Cody Jane...

Hi Becky, nice to meet you. I have a CAG also. Smokey is 9 years old and I've had her from when she was first weaned. It sounds like Cody Jane is doing well with her talking. Since CAGs are generally late bloomers they often don't start saying much until 18 months or 2 years. Smokey started around 18 months and now she never shuts up. I'm sure Cody Jane will start picking up lots more now that she's started.
