| Crazy grey one.. |
|
|
Jako, the only recently wingclipped African grey parrot ( http://www.fluffies.org/parrot.....ipping.htm ) is truely out of his mind.. He is very different from Rocco, the other grey he is living with.
He doesn't cease to amaze me really!
Jako still has to be caught with a towel, to get him on the outdoor gym, as he doesn't step up on a perch inside his cage.
Jako JUMPS from play gym to play gym, seemingly effortless. Also, he cannot sit still, he has to explore every inch of the play gym.
He certainly isn't afraid of things!
Today he was on Zazu's gym (first gym, at the right) when I put some pellets in Iago's foodbowl on Iago's gym (second gym, at the right)
Iago was eating his pellets happily, until Jako jumped on his gym and started eating Iago's pellets!
(Jako is on a seed diet)
Also, Cherry the blue and gold macaw is on the gym right now. (Zazu's gym)
Donny, her lover isn't outside as they cling too much to each other..
Just a few minutes ago, she turned around, stroking Jako's head with her tail.. Very slowly.
Jako didn't do anything, just shook his head.. No biting, no screaming, no panic. Very strange! |

Jako is cool! Hahaha, I think it won't be long before that bird discovers it's much easier for him just to step on the perch to go out! He really seems to be enjoying himself! |

He is really cool isn't he? Catching him in his cage with the towel becomes much more easy.. Or I become handy, or he just lets me catch him..
Today, when I put him on the gym outside he immediately started eating from the pellets.. He isn't 'traumatized' I guess.. Just pretends to! |
