| dye my hair??!!?!!?! |
|
|
I want to dye my hair brown, but I'm afraid that Oskar won't like it.....
will my hair changing colors change his attitude towards me, or won't it?!
I have golden-ish blonde hair, so the change would be pretty significant....
what do you guys think.............
I'm so scared that I'll do it...
and he'll HATE me!!!!!!!
oh goodness...

H'mmmm.... I've heard of birds having reactions to different styles of hair.. but I've never experienced it, so I don't know. Recently I put golden highlights in my hair and straghtened it (my hair is really curly), and Bunny didn't even give me a compliment She didn't even notice!
I think it'll be fine if you die your hair, i wouldn't worry about it. Even if Oscar is standoffish at first, which I doubt, he'll get over it Brown hair is very hot this season |

some birds I have read do respond horribly to changes. You can always test it out by having a wig on or something and see how he reacts to it.. you know get one of those cheap bring coloured party wig and wear that and see... if he reacts to it badly, you'll know than... though, try not to get a colour too bright or a colour that oskar doesn't like.. |

well....I went ahead with it, because, his previous owners all had brown hair, so I thought 'why not'....lol.
but anyways, he was a bit standoff-ish at first, and bit me....but now he's like 'OH! that's my mommy!!!!!!' lol.
he doesn't mind!!
yay.
that's a huge relief.
Sonnie actually likes me more I think!!!!

I complete shaved my beard.... None of my birds knew me, they all treated me like a stranger for over a week. Even then they did not treat me the same, so I grew it back.

Hmmm I wouldn't worry about it. I have heard some birds going nuts, but my birds never have.. Even not when I had pink/purple extensions and very red hair! LOL!
Shirin: What? Didn't Bunny even give you a compliment? That's the last time you've ever told her she's beautiful. Next time, she can give you a compliment first. |

Hey I used to have pink hair too! But it was my own hair, not extensions, and it was way before I got Bunny |

Hehe, sure I'll try to dig up a picture It wasn't all of my hair, just 2 big streaks in the front and middle, and also the tips. And the rest was black. I had to bleach my hair first for the pink to show really bright. That was so long ago!!! |

Did your hair break because of the bleaching? |

No it didn't break, it was the first time I was bleaching it, so I guess my hair was pretty healthy to begin with. |

You know I had bright blue hair at one stage.. it was only the bit around the front though.. but it was done so that when I tie my hair up all you can see are blue hair.. it hides the black underneath quite well..
the sad thing is, I don't think I have any pic of me with blue hair!! hmmm.. |
