first molt?
hi guys, so my TAG is going to turn 1yr on the 5th of january. he has never molted. and now he is all of a sudden looseing alot of feathers. but i'm not sure if hes molting or not? so im wondering if anyone knows when greys typically have their first molt? He is chewing his feathers currently so thats what makes me wonder if its something other then molting? but he also has not had a full molt yet...so i'm just not sure? if anyone has input i would love to hear it! thank you.

hi, it is possible that he started to molt. i suggest you shower him once a day with warm water and aloe vera. that will keep the skin smooth and not itchy. as your grey is 1 year old it is possible that it started molting.
