We've been through it once already with Amy but she is acting totally different this time around. last year she just hung out in the corner under a cage a lot and made funny noises. This year she is hanging out close to her cage and Misty of course. We just 'HANDLE WITH CAUTION' and don't take it personal. Our little Angel is the disheartening one.......he used to be so sweeeeeeet...

what's worse....is Oskar will act like he's being his "GOOOOOOD boy self" and put his head down for scratches......well...he's not being a good boy....and he decides...."what a good trick!!" and flips his head up and grabs my finger....and bites HARD......then he won't let me go!!!!
it hurtssssss really bad....
so now I find myself not wanting to give him cuddles and stuff.....
or he'll "cuddle" with me....and latch on to my neck or shoulder....ow.
that monster..... |

Well if you don't get through it this year, there is always next year..... And when you get a Macaw I will take 5 CAGs before I would take on 1 Macaw.....They are ....... shell we say, I treat them with respect..

It is not a good idea to cuddle, you are teaching him a new trick, "Bite Lyniz". Be respectful of the bird mood, and keep in mind that it will not last forever...
