| I'm worried about Bunny |
|
|
She's had diarrhea all morning She's acting normal, but her morning poop was practically all liquid, and every poop since then has been really soft and liquidy. She's never had diarrhea before so I'm a bit worried. I hope it's nothing She had some rice last night for dinner, but the doves had the same thing, and they're fine. |

Apollo LOVES steam rice!! He'll scoff them down in no time..
I'm sure Bunny is going to be ok. May be she just haven't had enough food in her crop?? I hope everything is cool with her. Just keep a close eye on her. Oh APollo gets runny poop at times too, but he usually gets back to normal soon enough. |

Shirin, diarrhea? Is it totally one big poop? Or is there still something liquid in there?
(Sorry didn't really understand what you meant)
With all liquid do you mean 'all clear see though'?
Do you know anything she likes? Nuts?
Like Bih said, is there anything in her crop? I usually feel the crops of my birds.. I want to know if there's something in there! |

I know this is pretty obvious but my sennie gets liquidy poo if he drinks too much water, takes a bath where he ingests to much water or eats a bunch of watery veggies.
I am sure that Bunny will be fine. |

I'm sure it's nothing, you know me, I'm such a worrier She difinitely had enough to eat last night. She had pellets also, and a peanut. And her morning poop did have green in it, but it's not solid, and a big pice of the newspaper is wet, so it's just unusual. Her other poops have been really soft, and light in colour and more water than usual. But she's eating now, so I'll keep my eye on those poops |

Oh! Poops are SO worrisome, aren't they? I'm sure she is fine, but I will be anxiously awaiting poop updates |

OK, I've been on Poop watch all day, and they seem to be going back to normal. I still wouldn't bring her on the carpet though You know, I noticed that Keesh Meesh's poop was a bit softer than normal too, so maybe it was the rice. I mean it was just plain cooked rice, but maybe they ate too much? I don't know |

Glad to hear "things" are getting back to more normal form! Now let's just hope you don't have to go thru the whole worrying process with little KM! |

Good to hear Bunny's poop is back to normal I am so use to liquid poop around here with two lorikeets Lucky we have tile floors. Poor Keesh Meesh. You could get him a girlfriend? Then you will have even more Doves!! Maybe just some extra snuggles will help |

Oh no Shirin! Boy, little Keesh Meesh sure grew up in a hurry, didn't he
You know, that is one sad thing about keeping companion birds. It just doesn't seem natural when they're not able to mate I bet Manu would make one proud Papa, if given the chance, which I'm sure will never happen. But I'm sure your little big guy will soon get over it, for awhile anyway |

LOL.. another poop talk!!! I am glad to hear that Bunny is getting back to normal with poop... it probably is the rice, being too quite moist and stuff...
Oh that little KM is growing up.. what a cutie looking for a GF.. any chance that you could get him a little playmate? it'll be cute if you could.. LOL... more birdie for Shirin.. hehe |

No no! I can't have any more, and most importantly I can't deal with another breeding pair especially since I'm so sensitive about taking the eggs away I read on this wild rescue forum that people were giving their male ducks stuffed toy birds and the ducks would happily accept them as mates I think Keesh Meesh is too smart for that though |

Sorry for my late replies.. I've been busy these days and there's happened quite some things here..
Strange that rice could have caused this.
I'll watch my fids' poops when I give them rice! |
