my african grey is 15 weeks old i have had her for 3 weeks she is so lovely but could you tell me if it is normal that she is on her stand out side of her cage and most of the time she eats she has a fly around for a bit and does rolly polys on me when she wants to play but most of the time she is eating is this normal sorry to sound so stupid but it's the first grey i have had. |

I do not have a Grey, but I am sure that those who do will be able to help
One thing I would say is that your birdie is still real young so maybe eating all the time cos he/she is a growing birdie...
But as I said I am not an expert...

Hi Donnat.. I don't live with an African grey, so I can't be of any help.
Could it be that your grey is trying food? It can be that he or she needs longer to eat things than adults? |

My grey is 8 months old. He eats like an Amazon!!! He loves to play about, rolling all around ect. He was flying - but had a serious accident. So now he doesnt - yet - anyway!
Id say your babys is acting like a "normal" grey. Had he been into the Vet for his baby check up? Thats very important as babys can get very sick before you know it  |
