Aaaw She's very cute. But I have a question, why would she have gone to auction? She's still just a baby. And why is sugar creek your favourite place if they do bird auctions? Obviously they're not that concerned with the type of people who end up with their baby birds if they're just willing to sell to the highest bidder just because the bird growls. Why would you support a place like that? Don't mean to be a downer, just being honest. |

Hey everybody is entitled to their own opinions. If you want to pass judgement on Sugarcreek or us without even knowing us or the whole story that is your right. |

Wo! Relax! No one is passing judgement. I'm just trying to understand where you're coming from. I'm sorry, as you know I have a real passion for animal rights and when I see something that doesn't sit well with me I have to qestion it. Kaylee looks to be less than 5 months old. I don't undertand why they wouldn't just work with her and try to socialize her, when she's sooooo young, instead of just saying oh well I guess we'll just have to auction her A responsible establishment that truly cares about the kinds of homes their animals go to doesn't have animal auctions PERIOD. If the bird is THAT difficult that she's impossible to socialize then their first priority should still be finding a good experienced home for that bird, not how else can I make a profit on a bird that no one wants to buy Your home is a wonderful home for her, but I bet you still had to pay for her. And what happens to the next bird that is less than perfect to be a pet? You can't save them all, and they will end up being auctioned and most likely dumped at a shelter somewhere within a couple of years. I'm sorry if you feel offended by my beliefs, but it would be hypocritical of me to just keep my mouth shut for the sake of hurting people's feelings. No matter what the whole story is, animals auctions are wrong and unethical in my opinion. Sorry. |

TAGs are smaller than CAGs Lynzi but she is even small for a tag. She tried some supper with us last night but she stayed n her cage. She is so very timid but at least she seems to be interested in what the other birds are doing. I think she'll adjust in no time at all. |

Lynzi, show me a bird you didn't fall in love with. You are as bad as I am.

Gemma,
She is so funny, She screams like somebody is killing her when ever you get close to her with your hand. But she is starting to take treats from our hand. So here we are holding a treat for her, she is walking ver to get it, and all the time she is screaming blood muder. She takes the teart and steps back... way back, and then does it all over again...
