| Kooka and her head..!! |
|
|
Hi everyone. Kooka my female CAG kind of gives her head wilingly to me to scratch it for her. But if I put my hand at any time on to her head to scratch it she shakes it and wants my hand off her head. If I persisted and put her on my lap and started scratching for a while her refusal ends up with willingness. I thought at the begining that she may be allergic to her head or so but at time when I approach her she just bends her neck to give me her head. Any ideas??? |

Ziggy does that too, especially the first week I had him. I wondered if I was doing the scritches all wrong or something. He would put his head down and then as I started he would seem quite put out and move away, then come back for more, very confusing. Then yesterday he seemed to want nothing but cuddles, I spent almost half an hour scritching, then today, much less. So yes folks any answers? |

You Two are lucky, Misty our CAG, will only let me take her out of her cage to (should I use that word, why not) poop and treats of course, If I even think about anything else she screams like all hell is after her tail feathers. I am sure you know the sound. Carrie will chim in on this one, she can tell you how long it took her to get Misty where she is. (a spoiled brat) Mainly her bird....

I am going to really boast now John Ziggy will let pretty much anyone give him scritches. Today I sat with him for half an hour scritching between doing ironing, he had his head almost flat on the ironing board until I could scritch no longer! I reckon I will have him playing dead by the end of the week too. So chuffed with my baby and such a contrast to my moody little Pico I am aware that pride comes before a fall so I will shut up now |
