| This TAG has stolen my heart!!! |
|
|
I took Taz to my avian vet for a health check and he is in perfect health and feather! He's about 4-5 years old. Got his nails and wings trimmed and one week after getting him he is now stepping up! He allows me to scratch his head and neck, too. I'm in love! And so glad I took a chance and gave him my home and now my heart! DNA results will be back next week! I only took 15 pics today but won't bore you with them all at once!

Hi RR,
The pics did post, but it was changed to links to cut down on data transfer to the website to keep the site up to speed. We found the when pics are directly linked to this site, it would slow the webpage upload that's all.
I can't wait to see those other photos of Taz!!!! What a gorgeous little guy!! |

| Is your parrot a Timney? |
|
|
He looks just like my Timney Grey, Simon. Is your parrot a Timney or an African Grey. We don't have a lot of Timney's here in Canada. The African Grey's are more popular. I got Simon May of 2005. He is great fun! |

Hi Debbie
Timnehs and Congos are both sub-species of the African Grey, so Simon is an African Grey too, he's just a Timneh African Grey, and my Bunny for example is a Congo African Grey
How is Simon by the way? |

you can always tell a timneh grey from a congo. Congo's have the red tail and timneh's have a grey one. Congo's are a bit larger than the timneh's too. |

Also Timneh's beak is horn coloured on top, and Congos beaks are solid black. Oh and Timneh's tails are more maroon coloured and also Congos are cuter hehhehe I'm just kidding you guys!!! I think all African Greys are gorgeous |
