Just wondered how many have greys that really like their veggies? I've had Smokey for 9 years, since she was weaned. She's been offered everything you can think of her whole life, but she just does not like her veggies. She does like some fruits, grains, pastas, beans, etc. But veggies - raw or cooked do not get her excited. Occasionally she'll decide she in a mood and eat corn on the cob, or a little carrot but that's about it. Meanwhile, my new little Sennie eats every veggie I put in front of him! So wondered if it's a grey thing or just a spoiled Smokey thing. |

Bunny LOVES veggies! Her absolute favorites are raw pea pods, raw string beans, steamed broccoli, steamed carrots, steamed baby corn, and cooked peas. She's not a big fan of fruit though. |

You can't get EVERY bird to eat their veggies, kinda like kids You can keep trying but it won't kill her if she doesn't eat them as long as she has a good diet and maybe a supplement to make up for the vitamins and minerals she's losing out on with the veggies. Chaquita really turns her nose up to veggies. She'll eat corn and maybe nibble on broccoli and beans but she really doesn't care for them but I still offer them to her just in case she changes her mind. |
