I think Chelsea will like it eventually. But, most birds have to get used to new things first. You can wrap it up with easily destructible paper. (To make it more interesting)

Hi Birdmom! How've you been? So, how long ago did you get the bird stand? Can you take a pic of it and maybe we can give you some ideas to make it more interresting for Chelsea? It usually takes Chaquita about a month to start taking interest in a new stand or toy. |

Chelesa just loves her mom!
Linus much prefers to sit on me or the back of my chair than his tree.
If I put the tree next to my chair he plays on the tree all evening long until bed time. If the tree is behind me (my back to linus)he will not stay on the tree. |

no, I couldn't tell.. hehe. kidding of course. and I'm sure the feeling is replicated from Chelsea, which is why she wants to hang out on you soooo much!! may be like Linus's tree, move it next to you, and see how Chelsea would take to it? |

HI,..I wl be sure & try that when we eat together ,..lol,..since this is when she is alot more likely to want anything to do with her stand,...since eating is one of her favorites things to do,...lol,..She is sure a wonderful companion,...,..I just cannot help to love her SO MUCH!!!,.
She will now even let me "pet" her back,..just alittle,...when I do first get her out of her cage,..as "someone" here suggested,...Thanks so much,,.."C",...lol,..(I always tend to mispell your name,...)so thats why I am abreviating it,....
Chelsea will also let me clean off her beak too,..& touch it now!!!! If these things are not progress,...I am so proud of her,...She even flew from her stand to me across the living room to me where I was sitting on the couch,..how about that?,..
Thanks so much to all of you!!!Have a great evening!!! Birdmom52 |
