hi
i have not long got a blue fronted amazon parrot
it is called polly not sure if boy or girl
and also not sure of age there is a blue ring on one leg with
2 pk birds 08 or 80 v
so can anyone help me work out the age
are the rings the same colour every year or not
any info much appreicated

hi and welcome here.
is the ring closed or is it sealed. if it is a complete closed ring i guess that the 08 means the year. if it is a sealed ring, it is impossible to know the real age. you can only gues then.
amazones are really nice parrots. I have 3 and I love them very much.
do you have any pics of yours? what is the name of it?
you might try to ask an avian vet if he cna give you some more advice.
Where did you get the bird, maybe that person can give you some more info as well
