yellow crowned or blue fronted?  Reply with quote  

when first got frankie i was told by the bloke whom i got him of he was a yellow crowned but as i have looked through more books and websites i have found thatthe yellow crowned have a small patch of yellow about the beak where as frankie has a large patch and when i was sat talking to him yesterday i noticed that he has some bluey coloured feathers just above his beak now to me he is a blue fronted!
can any one confurm what he is for me please. Very Happy its much apreiciated

Frankie looks beautiful!!! But I can't really tell from the pic if it's a yellow crowned or blue fronted Amazon. Sad Sorry

i hve just been looking through the homepages, and i went on Danabirds, she has a picture on there that looks like frakie and when i went down to the last picure or the two amazons, and it was headed 'orange winged amazons' and so i went looking in a serch engine for orange wind and they all look like frankie, i am going to get a picture of him and put it in my diary can you please have a look and confur that is what he is for me please!

Sami You could also ask your avian vet what type of bird Frankie is when you go. I'm sure he'll know Smile

im going to ask him when i go, he is refusing to come out and play because he has been out allday today which is unusual because he normally stays in but there were my auntie and cousin in and he loves showing off his new tricks! lol
but asoon as he comes out then i will get a pic with his colours of his wings and things in
