Hi Nakedogmom,
I just got back from Sugar Creek. They have a baby CAG in and another one will be ready to go by next week. I saw the one, he/she will melt your heart. If I would have had the money and Carrie was not there.... no telling how many birds I would have if I was rich...

Dang......
See, this is why we were looking into adoption as the prices of babies were out of our range at this time. Especially if you add a cage and toys on top of it. |

NDM
have you tried AERAS
http://www.aeras-parrots.org/
They are strict and they maintain that if you don't follow thier guide lines they can take the bird back. But I believe they have a couple of CAG up for Adoption..

I have checked AERAS, but it's the classes that are the problem.
Trying to get things set up to take out an entire day to drive 1 1/2 hours (or so) isn't easy with four dogs, four cats, one bird, and one husband who is ONLY home on the weekends (and maybe not even that).
He travels M-F (flies out of town), so it's not easy to take time out of our weekends together since that's all we have. |
