Help! (Choosing a logo)  Reply with quote

I need your help.. I can't really decide myself..

The logo currently looks like this:

I thought to have depicted the more prevailing parrots/parakeets on the logo up here.
(By the way, can you see that it is a budgie on the 'L' of 'All'?)

This was the logo this morning:

I missed the African grey parrot.. Also, the macaw was very tiny..
I also thought that Iago & Flit would look better on the 'fluffies'.. Smile
I also missed the 'www.' in front of the 'fluffies.org'

This one is also possible. It is without the budgie. But I doubt if many people will recognize the hawkhead on the 'O' of 'ORG' as a parrot?

The next two logos are more or less the same.. The second shows a 'lighter' Flit & Iago..
Misty is depicted a larger..

I hope you can give me some insight as I cannot see the best anymore.. I have been changing logos for hours, my eyes are a little square of the monitor LOL!

I'd tend to choose for the first logo, as I don't want to rule the budgie out..

Oh Sue Smile ! You are so cute to worry so! I think they all look great, whichever you decide to go with. I really like the current one. The www. looks great, the only problem is, in my case anyway, whenever I'm talking to someone, or writing about it, I tend to always use the title & it's just easier to SAY fluffies.org, rather than wwww.fluffies.org.
You do a great job & are SO appreciated!

I prefer the first one out of all of them, but I think I would like it even more if one of the 3 parrots around "ALL ABOUT" was facing the opposite direction. It looks a little funny with all three of them and Zazu facing the same way Smile.

Hi Sue,

I like the first one best as well. I think the budgie looks cute where it is. But like it's been mentioned, go with the one you like best. Have a snooze, wake up in the morning, and then look at them again!! Smile I do like the first one best though.

Thanks for your kind words Cathy.. Smile
So you'd think fluffies.org would be better than www.fluffies.org? I added the www. because it would be more clear for people not familiar with the internet to see that it's a link.. Smile
What do you think?

Thanks Fi!

Do you think the budgie is clear enough? Do you have difficulties recognizing the budgie as being a budgie?

Hi Cheeta,

It's the next day now, but I still can't look at it impartially.. I made it, it's difficult to look at it with a blank view. (Right word?)
I do agree with turning the grey though! Smile
Hmmm, work for me..
Well, later today.. Smile

Is the budgie easy to recognize as a budgie? Or is it hard to tell?

Hmmm may be one day isn't long enough. May be you should leave it for a whole week!! Smile Take a break from logoing!!! LOL.
I think turning the grey around would make it look a lot more well balanced.

and yes the budgie is easily recognizable. I saw it there and knew it was a budgie before I read what you asked about the budgie. Smile
