| Please read: Movie uploading changed |
|
|
Uploading movies works a little different now. You have to install flashplayer 9 but the system will tell you where to get it.
One advantage: Movie uploading works a lot faster now!
If there are any problems, please let me know. |

Hey Sue! I just uploaded a bunch of videos!
I found a free program that's VERY easy to use that I down loaded to convert all the .mov files I take with my dig cam, to .avi files, so now I can can save them as wmv files. ... Or ... something like that ... I think ... I'm a bit tired & confused after all this now, LoL! |

It worked real good Sue, yes, it was much faster!
But I MAY be having a problem with the flash player I had to install. I'm not sure if it's that, or some other messing around with my computer that I've been doing. I may try uninstalling the flash version & if that solves the problem, I'll just re-install it when needed to upload movies. |

Glad to hear that Cathy! You know, the previous method to upload movies took ages, don't you agree?
I think it'll be no problem to get the flash player back on your pc, if that's what you meant?
What kind of problems do you mean? |

You need to uninstall the previous verison of Flash Player. Then Reboot. Then I has to go to
http://www.adobe.com/shockwave.....omoid=BIOW
the link provide in your popup did not work.
I did this on XP
on 2000 I did not have an issue.

You are right Jrmno1,
The link for upgrading your flash-player has changed and the link you give is the correct one.
Thank you.
I don't know if you have to reboot you system. Or that you have to uninstall your previous version of flash. I have already done the upgrade so I can't check this.
There are two different upgrades. One for people that use the Microsoft Internet Explorer and one for people that use an other browser.
The how-to upgrade for other browsers is saying that you need to close all open browser windows. After that is done you can do the upgrade.
If someone is still haveing problems upgrading there flash-player, I am here to help.
The link in the movie upload window is updated. |
