Is this forum slow or have I just too many windows open?
I find the forum pretty slow today, wondering what you are experiencing? |

Nope, not slow for me at all. I think you're just so used to your high speed connection, that if the server was to slow down a bit you'd notice the difference!!! LOL. Kidding.
You're probably right with what you said. Probably got too many windows open at the same time. |

Yep, mine's been slow too. Could be a busy period or a virus. Seems to be ok now. |

not slow at all for me. faster than others, actually. can't say if it has anything to do with using a mac though. but even pics and such load very quickly, and there has not been any loss of quickness lately. i'm just one of many, though, so who knows.

Oh..hang on maybe the world is slowing down..nahh..
on a serious note
most likely the satellites in space can have problems communicating for these thing can happen from time to time every year when certain positions of the planet effect communications.I better not go into detail for maybe l have confused you all already it's just a past hobby of mine

Well I'm with ya Shirin, I had some trouble last night. It seems that I wouldn't connect the the datebase, so it came up with an arror. But it's ok now though, although it's a little slow today as well, but nothing like last night though. |

I'm now going to do some reseach in science tommorow at work to find out if there is an explanation in this computer download just to be sure, meaning l'll look and find out if any of our satellities are down or affected but the sun which can affect our satellities if a burst of ultraviolet sunrays erupt (volcanic activity)from the sun causing this link to be effected not just ours but anyones satellitie that is in its path, which if it happens can cause a downlink meaning shutdown for a few seconds on a satellite then meaning hours or days to reprogram it'self. No guarantee but l'll see what's going on at NASA.COM via weather map This is a common accurance in space so there is nothing to be worried about |
