He/She was only 10 feet away and only 10 fo up in a tree.. Real Cute...

I hear them all the time but this was the 1st time I had seen one.. It was dark (6am) and I caught it in the torch light ( I was walking Pip)....

Fi, that's SO cool! I love owls too & would LOVE to see one! I've never seen one, other than in pictures. I know we have some here, as my step daughter said she once saw one in her back yard.
I'm hoping that we will get to see some up at our place on the river once the weather is nicer.

Wow how lucky of you! Very Happy I always got excited when I'd see owls in the wild too.. seeing them in a zoo just isn't the same.

My little Screech Owls are in their nest box.
We saw the little hen yesterday afternoon.
I'll see if I can get a new picture of her.

I was once at a Owl Sanctuary

And they were flying Barn Owls and people were allowed come up the front and the handlers called the Owl to the People...

And I was one of the lucky one's and I could not believe how light the owl was!!..

They are so beautiful...

They're all feathers eh? I've never touched or held one, but they look sooo fluffy, I'm not surprised that they're really light!
