in the summer, we grow our own veggies...and the only "insecticides" we use are ladybugs!!!
heehee.
so I think you'd consider them organic?
I'm sure organic may be better....because of the lack of chemicals....but I really don't think it would matter too much...but if I can get organic during the winter...I do.
they seem to be fresher...and the birdies just gobble them up like it's their last meal ever!!!! Laughing

I'm same as Sue, I try to eat organic myself, so naturally that's what I'd have in my house to feed the birds. But not a 100% of the time.

Lynzi we also grow our own vegees in the summer too. Although last summer I did not do a very good job with the garden or our pond. We feed our birds some organic foods but not all. The fresh carrots are always organic though. Smile
