I figured this would be the appropriate place to post... I recently adopted a quaker parakeet. I was told he was very young and have known him for 6 weeks now (he came home 3 weeks ago). When i frost met him, he had a line on his beak up near his eyes(horizontal line) Over the weeks, the line has traveled down his beak as (i think) his beak grew. could this be an indication of how old he might be?
Thanks, mike, lauren and lucas

Re: How old is my quaker?
I really don't know much about quakers.. Generally, you can't see a bird's age from the outside. I have heard that it can be seen with endoscopy.
