My father is getting ready to by a breeding pair of Sun Conures and he wanted to know if he could had more than one breding pair in the one cage??? |

I really don't know much about sun conure breeding, but I would think that having two pair in a cage may be asking for trouble, then again, It also depends on how big the cage is and also the temperament of the birds as well. some birds get really aggressive when in breeding, other is just as dandy as the next.
Again, if it was up to me, I wouldn't breed two pair in a cage. I wouldn't breed my budgies in the same cages and generally budgies are good with colony breeding. You might want to wait and see what other breeder may say or suggest.

I agree with Cheeta on this.. I would think that a breeding pair of birds would get agressive towards other birds to defend their young.
I don't think a bigger cage would matter? Only if it would be a large aviary? |
