is my grey getting ready to nest???
hi guyz im new to the forum side of fluffies, not sure what to do here basicly iv got 2 african grey congos had them a few years now but just recently the femail have been staying at the bottom of her cage alot ripping the paper etc im not sure if this is nesting behaviour as she has been quite close to our mail congo any help would lyk to know the behavior of greys when there nesting thanks.

my cags usually produce a whole load of the white angel dust feathers prior to laying eggs she will chew everything in sight especiaaly the inside of the nestbox. have you seen them mating do they haave a nestbox?

I don't know about nesting behavior of Congo's. But I'd say yes.. ??
Lovebirds also shred a lot of paper when in nesting mood..
