| Anyone wants to play the naming game with me? |
|
|
I've got five budgies that need names! I haven't really spent much time with them up until two days ago, so I'm still learning all their personalities! It's fun to watch them. I've found that there're two bullies amongst the new five babies. Poor Lemon and Lime is loosing out to them! But that's alright. Here's a pic of them lined up on top with Lemon and Lime not being able to take poll position on THEIR playgym!! So sad. But anyway. I would love to hear what other people would name these birds if they were theirs. Cheers

keeping with the theme of citrus fruit, how about these names:
Clementine, Kumquat, Minneola (I like this one), Pummelo, Satsuma, and Tangelo
Other suggestions (also fruit names):
Moya, Pepino, Matisia, Kiwi, Custard. |

The blue green in the middle is a beautiful colour. I gave my kids a budgie each to join my mothers flock, there was a beautiful yellow show hen who I named Sunshine, my youngest one renamed her, he called her Jeoff. |

Hehe, yeah they're mostly exotic tropical fruits, that's probably why you might not have heard of them.
I think Kiwi would be cute too |

I like that colour too. He's is one of my warbabies, coz he was plucked by his mother when he was a baby, which is why he looks so scruffy at the moment. He's still getting all his feathers. Just like the one on the far right on top. And also like Lemon and Lime as well they all came from the same mother, only Lemon and Lime was one clutch before.
Any chance your youngest one likes the wiggles?? He he he. |

The name would also be perfect for the second one from the right. (Sitting on the perch)
She is green, isn't she? Or am I colorblind? |

Oh no, Sue is going colourblind!! he he he... Kidding.
You're right. That one is green. But he also has a very bluish colour to him that you probably can't really tell from that pic. Although, sometimes he looks as green as anything in different lighting! may be I can call that chameleon or something!!! LOL |

Yes, Chameleon would be nice! Chammy or something for short? Or are there other abbreviations? |

Hmm not sure about other abbreviation for it, but I think Chameleon is a cute name now that I had a think about it. Here's another photo of that budgie. You can see a lot more of the blue colour on it. It can look a lot bluer than that too!!
