Budgies and Rabbits
I keep an aviary with about 30 Budgies and 6 Cokatiels.
Ocassionally I had an issue where a cat or rat would cause panic in the aviary at night and I would end up with 2 or 3 budgies with broken necks from flying into the fencing in panic.
I found the resolution to the problem was to introduce 2 rabbits to the aviary. This 'desensitises' the budgies to movement at night.
The budgies and rabbits get on very well and it is funny to see a small flock or budgies sharing carrots \ lettice with bunnies and even funnies to see a budgie that thinks it can help preen a bunny!
I thought that sharing this idea with others may help some other people with the same problem.

i have seen some similar case with genuia pigs and agapornis. they were all living in the same voliere and sharing all together. so cute to see
