maybe to get more birds, you could search shelters around your area..and maybe look at www.kijiji.com ? or craigs list or freeads or something similar

I know Shocked Shocked on Kijiji..people want like a 1000 for a blue crowned conure Shocked Shocked

and..once I was ticked because the ad title was "Budgie and Tiel for sale" then in the price coloum it said $20!! so I was all pumped and checked out the ad..then it said for the budgie like $30 or something with cage and like $100-$150 for the tiel!! Why would you say $20 when it was like 100?? Confused

good luck with getting new fids..and I just saw Kijiji doeasn't cover USA..hehe Embarassed

yeah....I just saw a CAG for $900...but I don't have 900 bucks!!!
Sad
but I guess people figure if you spend that kind of money for a bird...you'll most likely take care of it better than you would if you got it for free....?
possibly.....

all the good sites are always so far away!!! Razz
the one I use is a Utah based one....so everyone is pretty close by....
but I'm getting in trouble looking at these ads!!!
I found an ad for a Silky Dachsaund.....and I want it....
but I can't have another dog...unless I get a kennel license.... Sad

Ahhh I'm sorry to hear that Lynzi. But look at it this way: If that lady decides to keep her bird, it's a good sign. It's good for her bird so that it won't get hurt by moving.. (I hope you understand what I mean, it's not your house.. It's the moving part. It's sad that so many birds need to be rehomed)
Give your fantastic four a big hug from me!

Hi Lynzi Smile Sorry about the disappointment Sad

You mentioned 4 birds... does that mean you homed some fosters recently? Sorry, I haven't been on that much lately to know what's going on. I thought you had more than 4 including the fosters?
