Can anyone tell me if budgies and canary's can live together happily in the same aviary?

Hi there Tigalily
I have seen of budgies living with canaries. Although I have to say that budgies are big bullies... so if you do want to put them together, to keep an eye of them. observe the relationship between the birds. Oh one question, how big a cage are you talking about putting them in together?

Yes, I had thought that might be the case with the budgies. Also thought about space, and I think we will have to re think our plans..
