Hi grapes! Welcome here!
You've taken the first big step in bonding with your feathered friends by seeking advise Very Happy
Do you know how old they are? How long have they been with you? I take it they're in the same cage together?

Trust is the key to bonding, & it will take awhile for them to learn to trust that you are not going to harm them.
For the first few days, I would start by spending as much time as possible letting them just become familiar with you being around.
Walk by their cage often, or sit in the same room & talk to them a lot in a normal voice.

welcome!!

I'll say "Listen to Cathy" as well...she has great advice!! Try giving them spray millet thru the bars when they're used to you being around the cage...they love millet!!! But only give it to them as a treat, as it is fattening..but you will need to be armed with millet a lot during training Laughing

It's harder to tame two budgies at the same time, especially if they're older. Time and lots of patience is the key. I have had my two for almost a year now. They are fully flighted and fly around the house with Pickles (my Senegal). Their cage is right next to my computer in my kitchen so I spend a lot of time with them just being around them, talking to them, taking care of cage etc. They do not come sit on my finger but they do like being talked to and are not afraid of me otherwise. I can walk by them, etc. without them taking off. And just lately they have started sometimes landing on my head when I'm at the computer. (This after almost a year). I love seeing them together and the way they intereact with each other. So I really don't care if they sit on my finger. Just as long as they are not afraid of me.

However, if you really want birds that are going to be tame, sit on your finger, etc. then you are probably going to have to clip wings and take and work with one at a time (away from the other) each day. It would take lots of time and patience mostly. The older they are the more time it will take.
