Oh, glad to hear that cockatoo! I imagine that's probably very itchy, huh?

My wife got home from Cozumel Sunday afternoon to find Josie just a swinging and singing.

She saw the syringes by the cage and asked me what happened when I got home from flying with my brother.

I told her what happened and she was happy I saved her bird.

She had noticed something was wrong with Josie, but thought she had damaged the feathers around her beak from playing with her bell toy.

I told her I knew something was wrong when I saw her cere was encrusted and she was bleeding from around her beak on the sides, so I rushed her to Moultrie (60KM away) at 11:00pm at night to get her some help.

Josie is so much better now. She was singing to the wildbirds outside this morning as I throw seed outside her window to attract them.

dear cheeta,

do NOT use medicine!! Shocked if your bird has a week imune system, they could die from it!! i am a strong believer in mineral oil!
just thought you might want to know.
