Well I just e-mailed the guy and told him that I had found homes for 4 of the canaries and I would keep one and he e-mailed me back and said he wanted me to keep all them and not give them away. Wanted me to take care of them cause I would give them a good home. Well that is fine and dandy but I can't keep taking in things that people want just me to keep and not find other homes for if I can. I wouldn't be able to afford to feed everything if I did that. I keep what I can but since I did not need 5 male canaries I thought I'd ask at work to see if anyone wanted them and sure enough some of the residnets famlily memebers said they would take them if the guy didn't mind. So when I asked he said no. So I don't look for them to come now becasue I told him I couldn't keep everything. I did say I could keep the finches but then he said he wanted them to stay inside and I said I couldn't do that either cause I have the avairy outside for finches. So I guess no finches either Oh welllllllllll |

Yeah but I still had wanted to keep another male and the finches but the guy is mad at me now for not wanting to keep all of them cause I haven't heard from him since |

I had put some finch eggs under my female canary and was checking them and dropped one and there was a baby finch in it. It wasn't formed all the way but poor baby I didn't mean to kill it. I still have 3 under her so I hope one will live. She wan'ta baby so bad and I feel so sorry for her. |

I guess it just wasn't meant to be... Maybe a better opportunity will come along later. I see that he wanted the birds to have a good home, but on the other hand, once they are given to someone else, the original owner really doesn't have control of that anymore. They can only hope for the best for the birds.
