I rarely have butter at home since I don't eat it so I don't know if Papug would like it or not. But he just LOVES soup. When he sees a bowl of soup he just goes nuts! Shocked He also LOVES potatoes Smile
Booboo on the other hand doesn't like either so he gets upset that Papug enjoys it so much and just starts to bite him Rolling Eyes

My birds only get very small bites of cheddar or colby cheese only once in a great while.

I try to make sure my birds only eat the correct foods, I want them to stay healthy and happy and safe. Very Happy

Oh I see... I would only ever give them chedder cheese that's all... nothing else. and even then, only Apollo gets it on a very rare occasion.

Very Happy Pepper loves soup also. Her favorite is campbells bean and bacon soup. She loves to eat the beans. She also loves chili beans. She eats chicken noodle soup, tomatoe soup soaked crackers and vegatable soup. Pepper has a wide variety of tastes, but she doesn't do leftovers or same thing three days in a row. If she really likes the food, she will eat it 2 days in a row and no more. She then wants something different. Laughing

I've never tried butter with Berto, but the other day I discovered he LOVES whole grain goldfish. I only gave him one (I was eating them and he was interested) but it's been the only thing he's actually eaten the first time I gave it to him. (Usually he crumbles stuff like that into powder)

Berto is not so big on the new foods though. Sometimes he takes bites of what I'm eating if I offer it to him, but if I offer the same thing later and I don't eat it he won't either.

Right now Berto's hot treat is the emoxicillan (spelling?) I'm giving him for his spirochetes. I think it's bubblegum flavored; he licks the syringe after I give him the medicine.

I'm not so sure Berto will like the butter though, he's not a fan of squishy stuff.
