I got Eli first he was my first bird of all three of them. He came from a breeder who got him back from a family that abused him. He was originally bought for the daughter. Then the daughter went to go live ith her father and he wouldn't let her take him with her. They shut him up in a dark room with lil to no interaction and when they did interact with him it was to slam the cage around and pick on him. One day one of the boys that was teasing him put their finger in the cage and Eli bit it. So the mother got mad and told the breeder that at age 6 months he was vicious and to breed him. She actually didn't want to do that so she called the bird store that I was affiliated with and they called me. (I had a couple of sparrows that died and I was looking for another bird) So my friend and I went to look at him. He bit the snot out of my neck. But I got him anyways. He's now sweet and loving. and also my best bud. oh he's about 7 yrs now.
Little Foot's story is much better. She's about 14-15 yrs of age. The old owner didn't know how old she was when they got her, they found her outside. She had gotten loose after a hurricane, and lived (Thank God).The reason why these people didn't keep her was that the mother of the person who gave me Little Foot wsa going through Chemo.And She didn't have time for both Little Foot and her mom so now she' s my baby, and the sweetest oneI have.
