I just got another cockatiel home on friday and have been observing it. It hasn't eaten from the bowl since coming back.
I had initially thought it was because she was new to the environment and just needed time to settle down. But when I fed the seeds (she doesn't eat pellets) straight to her mouth, she readily gobbled down everything. She's obviously hungry, but still doesn't eat from the food bowl even though she is perching on it.
Then, I continued observing her and I think she's BLIND! She can't see the food inside! I tried putting my finger near her eye, but she doesn't blink!
I really need help with this! Please tell me what I have to do! I don't want her to die!
