Yes it is weird when they do it. When Pepper my sennie does it, I always tell her that she is hogging my air. She thinks its funny. It ia a natural thing that all birds do. |

I just about died from worry when my cockatoo Apollo first did it! I thought he had something stuck down his throat or something!! but he did stop when I'm talking to him, but will start all over again when he goes on his merrily way.. all my budgies do it too... |

It sounds like we all had the same idea when first seeing our birds yawning like that. When I first saw it, I tried looking down my birds throat to see if something was stuck there. What a goof I was. Now I know better but it still worries me when they do it for a long time. |
