built a new big cage. It is 4'x4'x5'. It is HUGE. but I was wondering if I could possible keep four parakeets, and the teil in it. I have done this for a while and they seem to be fine. but i dont know. THey hvnt fought yet and its been 5 day so I was wondering what everyone thought.

Hey Khill,

Yes it's fine to have your budgies in with the tiel. Just make sure though to keep an eye out for the budgies bullying your tiel. Sometimes the females can get territorial for one reason or another. Good luck with it.

And oh, sounds like a nice cage you've got for your birds. Just wondering though, what is the bar spacing on it? Cheers

Its 1/4 squares. Its wire from the Lowes. It is non-galvanize too. Its soo cool. But its little squares that are about 1/4 inch big. I pulled the parakeets out becaseu they were too noise when they were away from the rest of the flock. grrr. I am selling 4 of them so if anyone is in the Warner Robins GA, area Please pm me.
