My tielhas a problem with metal. he likes to chew on my glasses my moms rings, necklaces, is this ok or should i teach him not to do that. and if so how do i teach him? hes reall cute when he does it but i just want to make sure its ok for him to do? plz help. |

don't worry about it too much, birds like shiny objects. It's ok to chew on jewellery, that' not a problem. think the glasses frame is ok as long as it's not 'chipped' so it can get to the metal underneath.
and also no galvernized wire or anythng like that. Too much zinc. |

No, I wouldn't worry about it too much either khill. In fact, I've read that a good way to bond with a new companion bird is to don an old pair of eye glasses & let him remove them, or try to remove them, just kind of playing a game with him. |

My tiel Papug loves chewing on glassess, ring and earings As long as he is supervised it should be ok. Just make sure that he doesn't damage the glasses - these beaks can be very mightly sometimes  |
