My Tiel has lost 3 tail feathers. do they grow back?

Well if the tail is only broken, then it'll take awhile, as the new feathers will have to wait till the broken feathers moult out first. I used to have a tiel that would get in all sorts of places and break all his tail feathers, so I had a little 'rounded' teil all the time...  and as soon as the new ones grow in, he'll break those as there are no 'protection' from the other feathers that should have been there!! hehe |

They'll grow back.  It will take some time. Aren't they broken at the base? If they are, it will take longer: They won't grow until those fall out. |
