I think she'll be OK Alina. I've never had my 'tiels wings clipped, but my 'tiel is also not hand tamed & that's probably the reason why.
However, I do have my macaws wings clipped regulary & he's very tame. After his wings have been clipped, there is a noticable change in his behavior for 2 or 3 days. I think he feels defenseless & probably off balance a bit, & he becomes a lot more inactive & quiet, but after 2 or 3 days he's right back to his nomal self.
I'm hoping that will be the case with your Ciuffy too. From what I've read of how she was acting before you had her wings clipped, I think you'll end up very happy that you had it done. I hope so anyway Very Happy
But I can understand your concern if she's not eating! I would suggest having her very fav treats available to her until you know she is eating again. Even try offering them by hand, as she may feel more secure about eating that way right now.

Hi Alina.. is he not eating?? like are you checking his food bowl to make sure he's eating? or you're just not seeing it?

I'm sure even if he's not eating now, he'll be eating very soon. They do tend to sulk quite a bit when they loose their ability to fly.. have you fully clipped it yet? or is it just the tip of it?

I am quite worried.. Hasn’t she eaten at all? Do you have a good accurate scale? Perhaps you can monitor her weight?
Please, if you’re sure she is not eating take her to an avian vet asap!

Thank you for your concern .Thank God she started eating again after I think 5 days .The problem was that her behaviour in a way misled me because she sang quite beautifully in the morning which made me believe that she was not so upset. Anyway I am happy that she is OK now.

Oh, that's great to hear that Ciuffy is eating now. It can be quite upsetting for you to know that your baby is not happy and not eating as well.. But I'm glad that all things turn out ok. Good luck with retraining him. Please keep us updated as to how it goes. Very Happy

Did she eat, only after five days? I think she may have fooled you a bit? Please please get a good accurate scale so that you can monitor her next time, in case something might happen!
