| Yay new 'Teil!!!!!!!!!! |
|
|
I finaly got a new 'Teil.... Im adopting a Female Grey 'Teil from a lady a half an hour away tomarrow!!!!!! Her name is Lucy... but its sorta weird having had a dog named Lucy and now a bird named Lucy so depending on how much she knows her name than I might change it. and I almost adopted a blind Maxamillian Parrot but i think she was already taken. Anyway I got a new 'Teil and a new friend (posibly mate) for Petra!!!

No its just that when i cleaned his cage out yesterday i noticed a bunch of his breast feathers on the floor of his cage and then this morning when i had him on his playground i noticed more feathers all over the floor of his playground. He doesnt have bare paches but im worried he will soon... how do i tell if hes molting or if hes plucking?? |

It sounds like he's moulting Don't worry, when my birds are moulting I could make a whole pillow out of all the feathers on the floor |

I don't think you can tell until you see bald spots.. But I think she's just molting.. |
