Is it true that cockatoos ussualy only like 1 person in the house?? Cuz that's what i've heared.. |

no Dayna. Cockatoos are very social birds. If you social them right, they'll go to anyone that is willing to handle them. but of course, if they are brought up wrong then they may just as well go to only one person. Cockatoos are definitely not one person bird. My cockatoo love both myself and hubby equally, he'll fly back and forth between the two of us when we're home. He however will spend more time playing 'rough' with his daddy coz only his daddy will play with him like that. I can't handle him when he's being very rough.... hehe |

You probably heard that from someone who didn't socialize their too properly. It's very hard to resocialize them if at all when they get older. |
