my new cockatoo has a legband with this on it"348 AAD 05X" CAN ANYONE TRANSLATE

I NEED U KNW MAYBE IT SAYS HES FEMALE OR MALE

I don't think you can see it's a female or male from the legband. I'd say that the 05x can mean something like 2005 but I'm not sure.
348 seems to me like the bird's number at the breeder?
