Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiii everyoooooooone!!
We bought a goffin cockatoo today.. It's a baby but i'm not sure how old it is... I know it' not a year old yet. It's feathers look so scruffy That's just cuz it's a baby isn't it?? It's really friendly anyone can pet it!! When it flie onto the floor i can gt it to step up but when it's on it'scage, i Put my hand in front of it and it bites me!! Is it true that boy goffins have black eyes?? |

You'll have to wait intil it's mature.
And it sound like the cockatoo needs a bath.
Mist him down with a water bottle sprayer. |

I did give it a really good bath His name is chacha.. I don't really love the name but my brother INSISTED on it .. So it wouldn't be ok to put it wit dory in the same cage, right?? how r they at talking?? |

Ahh! NO! Don't put them together!
They need their own space. After supervised introductions they might be able to be out on a playstand together, but still, not in the same cage. |

I agree with NDM that they both need to have their own cage.
Hopefully they'll become friends after a quarantine & gradual, supervised intros.

Oh darn.. you got the name Chacha.. Seriously I was gonna name my next budgie Chacha..
Congrats on the new boy... by Scruffy feathers, do you mean it just looks messy? or does the bird actually seems like it's plucking? I hate it when people tell my they have a scruffy bird because all the really scruffy birds I've seen are tend to be pluckers and feathers shredders. Ihope that's not the case for Chacha...
Love to see pics of your new addition too!!
And yes definitely not in the same cage for these two, they both need their very own massive cage!! Have fun!! |
