Yes and no.
You'll have to wait intil it's mature.
And it sound like the cockatoo needs a bath.
Mist him down with a water bottle sprayer.

Ahh! NO! Don't put them together!

They need their own space. After supervised introductions they might be able to be out on a playstand together, but still, not in the same cage.

I agree with NDM that they both need to have their own cage.
Hopefully they'll become friends after a quarantine & gradual, supervised intros.

I like the name Chacha Very Happy

Oh darn.. you got the name Chacha.. Seriously I was gonna name my next budgie Chacha.. Very Happy

Congrats on the new boy... by Scruffy feathers, do you mean it just looks messy? or does the bird actually seems like it's plucking? I hate it when people tell my they have a scruffy bird because all the really scruffy birds I've seen are tend to be pluckers and feathers shredders. Ihope that's not the case for Chacha...

Love to see pics of your new addition too!! Very Happy

And yes definitely not in the same cage for these two, they both need their very own massive cage!! Have fun!!
