New Foster fid!  Reply with quote

I'm taking in another foster!
This one may be just for a few weeks until another foster family can be lined up, if my parents decide not to let me foster him....

He's either an Umbrella or Mollucan 'Too...
His current owner says Mollucan, but the description sounds awful Umbrella...so we'll see, we're picking him up tonight, so you can expect a new diary page introducing him!! hehehe

I think I'm ready to try to take on a 'Too...I've had enough experience by now I'd hope!

lol thanks!!!!

He might not be a 'permanent foster' if that makes any sense....
I may end up just picking him up and holding him until another foster family can be lined up.

I'm a bit nervous....but also pretty excited!!!

and...as always, you can count on pics! hehehe

He's home!!

He immediately was offering his head for scritches and just loving up the attention, I think he's older, as his feet look pretty arthritic....
I've got some nice pictures of him so far.

He seems pretty laid-back for a 'Too....he was roosting even on the way home in the car!

His name is Junior, and most def. a Mollucan!!!
I'll make him his very own diary page to introduce him!

very loud & cool! If treated right the M2's can be the most cuddly birds Ive seen. We had one here in foster for a couple months. He was fun - but shew I could never afford to own one long term

Just curious - how do you adopt out your fosters? Are you doing it alone or with a rescue group?

He's already asking for kisses and loves....he's older probably around 10-12

I do it with a rescue group.....They take care of everything for me lol

oh yeah it will!!! lol

actually, he's the best behaved bird I have!!!
I know we're in the honeymoon phase...but he's pretty much awesome!! lol

he does get loud, but we all expected that and were prepared for it, so it's not too bad
I'm always laughing when he does get noisy though!!
