Our wonderful Vet Got a hug today! Lucy is a healthy bird!!!!!    She is out of that room and we are having so much fun exploring the house. I can tell already she loves to sit in the kitchen and watch while I chop their food. She puts up her crest when she sees the other guys but I know she'll do better with time. She's been around other birds all her life.
There was only one thing he said needed to improve and that was due to her eating seed. She's been on pellets and fresh foods since we got her so that is changing everyday. I think she's the first BE2 he's seen. LOL He kept us for almost 1 1/2 hours talking about her. When he first saw her, he thought she had an infection in her eyes. He was looking at her close, touching around her eyes and said he'd has seen pics of BE2 but said they don't do them justice. We got so tickled at him. Her beak was trimmed and cleaned up along with her nails. Hopefully life will stay this way for a long time because we have a healthy family!! |

That's great to hear that Lucy is all healthy and is out of jail!!  She'll love spending time with the other birds.
