Hey Shell

I didn't realise the RSPCA has surrendered cockatoos!! That's really bad. But I guess they are an animal shelter organisation, so I guess that is to be expected. Still sad to think about those poor creatures without humans to love! Sad

I'm assuming they are surrendered since I can't imagine them selling birds they had to nurse back to health for $5, worse still they also had lots of budgies for $2, their cats and dog go for a reasonable price but their birds...

Hi!

I don't know where you are located, but I live in the US.
I would love to give that adorable too a good home with my other 3 toos.

Hi Ya'll! Q-Tip is at the Cockatoo Rescue here locally in Washington. This facility isn't open to the public, nor do they sale their birds. It's a very reputable place. I talk to vet about it and she knows the lady that runs it. I also have known some others that have sent birds there.

Q-Tip is very happy! He is paired with another bird just like him and I guess they both are doing wonderfully! I hope to see some pictures soon and if that's the case, I will post them!!

Thank you for you interest maryangel! Hopefully Q-Tip has found his happy forever home along with his new mate! Smile
