I wanted to get some input and thoughts on the following:
Would you put a Moluccan Cockatoo and a Major Mitchell in the same environment. I mean as in the same cage. I have a Major Mitchell, but my brother is wanting me to watch the Moluccan for him while he is away for 3 weeks. I guess too, it would depend on the individual birds themselves, but wanted to get some input from all of you.
Thanks, |

I wouldn't put two parrots together no matter what they were.
If he has the M2, can't he just bring the cage over with the bird? I know it would be a large one, but is there a way to transport it? |

I agree. The size difference between the two birds would likely mean that your Major Mitchell would get seriously hurt if not killed by the larger Moluccan. |

You do not want to do this, Too's can be very bird agressive, it would takes week if not months of work with these guys to do this. For a three week stay, I would say no, don't risk it.

Oh YIKES! I would not do this! Chances are that one of them will not survive!
How old is your mm2? Do you have photos of him or her? I live with a mm2 too! |

yes I agree with everyone. Probably not a good idea to have the two together.
have you decided what you're going to do yet? |
