Treats for too  Reply with quote

Hi guys and gals
what would be classed as a good reward treat for a young too in training?? What did you give to yours?
Regards Chris

Sera's reward was just some scratches. She did not (and still really won't) take a treat.

All she does if you give her something is be a typical too. Shred and drop.

I find that sunflower seeds are very good treat for my cockatoos. Apollo loves his sunflower seeds! or almonds.. but that takes forever for him to eat, so I find that the smaller seeds work better.

I give Zazu macadamia nuts, sometimes walnuts, Harrison juvenile with red palm oil (I make small balls, he loves it!)
If he does VERY well, I give him a small lick of peanutbutter.

Hi Chris,
I don't have a too, but I'll just tell you what treats my parrots like Razz They really love almonds, walnuts, cashews, and pistachios. I also recently found out that my African grey will go crazy for parrot baby food, so that's a nice treat also.
